Nerveless Wilkinson eliminates Leicester

The former England fly-half slotted six penalties and a drop-goal in a virtually flawless display to out-fire Toby Flood and the Tigers and seal a semi-final berth for the French side.

The two sides had never met in a competitive fixture and two-time champions Leicester made the brighter start at the rapturous Stade Felix Mayol.Solar Sister is a network of women who sell bottegawallet to communities that don't have access to electricity.Find a great selection of customkeychain deals. But Toulon fought back to reach the last four of Europe's premier club competition for the first time. They will now face Saracens at Twickenham in the final weekend of April.

The Tigers demonstrated their early intent with Anthony Allen releasing Tom Croft for a charge down the left. Croft was tackled into touch and a melee broke out between the England flanker and Alexis Palisson as tempers threatened to fray.

Flood fired the Tigers into the lead on 10 minutes, after their pack flexed their muscles at the set-piece. The England fly-half doubled his side's advantage on 14 minutes and he quickly completed his hat-trick as Dan Cole steamrolled Andrew Sheridan.

But Toulon fought their way back as Wilkinson booted their first points after Flood was harshly sent to the sin-bin for a deliberate knock on. The hosts continued to grow in confidence and the 14-man Tigers struggled to cling on. Wilkinson cut the deficit to three points after the Tigers strayed offside and they were dealt a further blow when Croft limped off with a hip injury.Online shopping for solarpanelcells.

Leicester did themselves no favours in the second half and within four minutes of the restart Wilkinson levelled after Ed Slater took Steffon Armitage out off the ball. Two minutes later he continued his 100 per cent strike-rate to hand Toulon the lead.

Toulon twice crossed the whitewash only for their efforts to be ruled out, while Wilkinson was wide with a drop-goal attempt. First Mathieu Bastareaud was adjudged to have put a foot in touch after bulldozing his way over in the corner. And minutes later the hosts were again denied with George Clancy ruling that Bakkies Botha crossed with a double movement.

Flood hit back but the hosts were irrepressible in attack and Cole gave Clancy no choice but to brandish a yellow card with a deliberate knock-on which was far more cynical than Flood's first-half offence. Wilkinson dissected the posts from the ensuing penalty and moments later he knocked over his sixth shot from the tee to put the French side six points clear.

Flood kept the Tigers in touch, with his fifth penalty, to set up a tense finale. He also put the pressure on the hosts with a superb touch-finder but Toulon surged down field in the closing stages. They threatened on several occasions to grab the game's opening try but eventually settled for a late Wilkinson drop-goal to seal the win.

Danny McGuire's try got Leeds on the board and after Joel Monaghan crossed to level matters, Hall touched down in the corner from a near-impossible position. Kallum Watkins crossed in the opposite corner to further increase the Rhinos' lead before Richie Myler and Paul McShane traded tries to ensure the score was 20-12 at half-time.

Hall produced another moment of brilliance for his second score and while Joel Monaghan helped himself to a second try and Ryan Atkins also went over, the Wolves were unable to exact vengeance.

Sam Tomkins grabbed a hat-trick of tries as Wigan went back to the top of the table with a 44-24 victory over 12-man Wakefield. An experienced artist on what to consider before you buy chipcard.

The home side raced into a 10-0 lead with Iain Thornley and Anthony Gelling crossing but the Wildcats attempted to make a game of it. Prop forward Justin Poore was shown a red card for throwing a punch at Liam Farrell but Vince Mellars and Richard Mathers crossed over in the space of two minutes to give Wakefield a shock 12-10 lead.

However, Thornley managed to cross for his second try before further scores from Tomkins, Darrell Goulding and Farrell saw the Warriors lead 30-12 at the break. Tries from Gelling and Tomkins put the Warriors further ahead, but scores from Lee Smith and Paul Aiton kept the score respectable before Tomkins finally got his hat-trick.

Hull FC comfortably dispatched Catalan with a 28-8 victory. Ben Crooks got Hull's first try either side of William Barthau's penalties. Hull went into a 16-4 lead after tries from Tom Briscoe and Tom Lineham were both converted. Lineham then added his second, before Morgan Escare grabbed a consolation try for Catalan, and Crooks crossed for his second.

Hull KR went some way to restoring pride after their record defeat last week by beating St Helens 22-14. The teams went into the half-time interval level at 10-10 - David Hodgson and Josh Hodgson crossing for the hosts while Mark Percival scored all of Saints' points.

The Robins stepped it up after the break, restoring their lead through Cory Paterson's try before Adam Swift raced 90 metres to reduce the deficit. However, Percival missed the conversion and Hull KR made him pay as Alex Brown dived in on the outside with Craig Hall kicking a late penalty to add gloss to the score.

Rhys Hanbury turned in a terrific performance as Widnes moved six points clear of the bottom as they enjoyed a 58-24 win over Salford. Hanbury and Cameron Phelps notched hat-tricks while Jon Clarke, Joe Mellor, Frankie Winterstein and Kevin Brown crossed.
